Classroom AI
Draft parent updates from photos without auto-posting
The photo is done. The sentence is not.
Teachers already capture the moment. The slow part is writing a parent-facing update that matches the photo, sounds like your centre, and does not invent details. That is the job Write with AI is built for inside daycares and early learning centres: a first draft from a short note, up to four photos, or both.
The draft prefills the activity feed form. Staff still review and post. Nothing reaches the parent feed until a person taps Post.
What Write with AI actually drafts
For activities, Write with AI can suggest type, title, and notes from the teacher's description and from what is clearly visible in attached photos. Mood and meal amount fill only when the note or photo clearly supports them.
Staff can also draft an AI-assisted class report from their own observations. Parents can read and acknowledge that report only after Publish. Write with AI also drafts internal staff notes, direct messages, and broadcasts. Parents never see the Write with AI button. Families still tap Translate when they want another language.
What it does not do
If a vendor claims AI analyses every day's activities into a termly report, ask what data is actually used to write that draft. In Clayox, progress drafts start from what the teacher types.
- It does not auto-post, auto-publish, or auto-send.
- It does not scan the week's activity feed, attendance, or photo history to write a class report.
- It does not invent scenes, skills, diagnoses, or names that were not in the note or photos.
- It is not an assessment framework, learning journal, or photo-tagging product.
How this sits next to translation
AI translation is for enrolled families and staff who want to read an existing update in another language. Write with AI is for staff who need a first English draft. Both are included with Clayox. The website enquiry assistant is also included: it captures conversations from prospective families, and your team still decides what becomes a lead.

What to ask in a demo
Compare the answers against our platform features list, then contact us if you want to walk through classroom logging with your rooms.
- Can a teacher generate from photos and still edit before posting?
- Does a class report require staff observations, or does the product claim to read the whole feed?
- Can parents trigger writing, or only translation?
- Are photos processed on the childcare centre's deployment, not in the teacher's browser?
