Nursery invoicing questions
Is Clayox nursery invoicing software or accounting software?
Clayox is nursery finance software for fee plans, invoices, credit notes, parent statements, and reminders inside the centre. It is not a general ledger and does not integrate with Xero, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
Does Clayox support deposits and registration fees?
Yes. Fee-plan lines include DEPOSIT and REGISTRATION types, plus monthly, weekly, hourly, and other one-time charges. Per-line taxable flags keep deposits and registration outside the tax base when configured.
Does billing support multiple currencies and VAT for the GCC?
Yes. Currency, VAT rate, and timezone are configurable per centre. UAE deployments default to AED, 5% VAT, and Asia/Dubai timezone. Across the GCC, each centre bills in its local currency (AED, SAR, QAR, KWD, BHD, or OMR) with its own VAT rate. Each invoice is issued in that centre's single configured currency, not multiple currencies on one invoice.
Can parents pay online by card?
Not yet. Staff record payments manually, or parents upload payment proof for admin approval. An online gateway is planned; card checkout is not available today.
Does daycare billing work the same way?
Yes. The same invoicing rails support daycare, nursery, preschool, and other ECE centres. Currency, VAT rate, and timezone are configurable per centre (default AED / 5%). GCC centres bill in AED, SAR, QAR, KWD, BHD, OMR with their own VAT rate.
